The East Waikiki Walking Tour

Join us on the most popular of our Hawaii Walks Walking Tours! Explore East Waikiki by foot as we explore the lush history and nature of the area. Learn about the geology, flora, fauna, and history of Oʻahu in a fun and informative tour led by an expert guide. Immerse yourself in history as we show you historic photographs of old Waikiki from our private collection that cannot be found anywhere else. This lets you view “before” and “after” and feel as if you’re walking through time. Kid friendly with interactive bird-spotting games.

1.5 – 2 hours, 2 Miles, Saturdays and Sundays at 9:00 AM, Wednesdays at 4:30 PM. $25 per person, Kids 12 and under walk free.

The Central Waikiki Walking tour

Do regular tourist-traps make you cringe? Are you seeking a deeper understanding of your vacation spot? Be a more informed guest to Hawaiʻi as we reveal all the secrets and history behind one of the most historic tourist centers on Earth. You’ll learn about local architecture, surf history, and the changing face of this sacred region. Perfect for everyone from history buffs to those who just want a healthy walk around town. This tour winds down the beach, through central Waikiki, and back to the Ala Wai Canal. We also provide custom historical information based on what hotel you are staying at.

2 hours, 1.5 miles. Saturdays and Sundays at 4:00 PM. $25 per person. Kids 12 and under walk free.

The Kahuku Point Walking Tour

Visit the sacred and wild Kahuku Point at Turtle Bay on the North Shore and look for endangered Hawaiian Monk Seals, visiting whales, and majestic seabirds. Hear about Hawaiian history of the region by a local professional guide. 2.5 hours, 3 miles, Saturday 4:00 PM and Monday 9:00 AM $35 per person, kids 12 and under walk free.

The Kawela Bay Sunset WalkING TOUR

Enjoy a leisurely walk to Protection Point, the sight of a historic WWII bunker. While the sun sets on the horizon, use Hawai’i Walks binoculars to search for whales, albatross, whales and other exotic wildlife! 2 hours, 2 miles, Sunday and Monday 4:30 PM. $30 per person, kids 12 and under walk free.
